PARTNERING OPPORTUNITIES

Icagen has maintained an active partnering program throughout its growth phase. Current opportunities focus on specific targets or specific compounds for broad indications within the Company's therapeutic areas of epilepsy, pain and inflammation.


ICA-105665 is a novel opener of the KCNQ ion channel which is preclinical studies has demonstrated a broad spectrum of activity in models of epilepsy. In addition, ICA-105665 has also demonstrated activity in certain models of pain. ICA-105665 has completed two Phase I studies and several proof-of-concept studies. This program is a candidate for partnering or outlicensing.

Senicapoc, formerly known as ICA-17043, has recently completed two proof of concept clinical trials for the treatment of asthma.  In all previous clinical studies senicapoc has demonstrated a favorable safety and tolerability profile.  While the Company does not plan to pursue further clinical development of senicapoc  for asthma, this program is a candidate for partnering or outlicensing.
