RESEARCH PROGRAMS
We are currently conducting ongoing drug discovery programs focused on new therapeutics for pain disorders and inflammatory disorders. In both of these programs, we have identified small molecule compounds that have demonstrated selective activity on specific ion channels. In preclinical studies, including in many cases in animal models, these compounds have demonstrated desired activities and profiles, validating these ion channels as potential therapeutic targets for the particular indication.
